Welcome to Mainetipey's Maine Coon Cattery


We are breeding Maine Coon Cats from Outcross and Classic Lines

We strive to breed strong and healthy Maine Coon’s with a sociable personalities.
In order to avoid too much inbreeding we are using outcrossed lines in our cattery as well as "well worked" Classic lines.
From time to time we might have also fondations lines that always has been part of the Maine Coon cat.

We do test our breeding cats for PKD and HCM (by x-ray and ultrasound) and only work with HCM DNA negative cats. See our HEALTH page for more informations.
We are a closed cattery and all our cats are FIV/FELV negative.

Our Maine Coon live with us and have a direct access to the outdoor Cat run we especially built for them in order to give them some freedom.
